Informations sur ce média
As more countries introduce legal gender recognition procedures, survey providers and statistical offices face growing pressure to better reflect gender diversity in their data collections. Yet including more inclusive gender measures poses both methodological and practical challenges—affecting survey design, data quality, and even how respondents answer broader attitudinal questions.
In this webinar, researchers from FORS and ISS within the DReMMS programme presented innovative work on how gender can be more accurately measured in general population surveys.
Together, these pioneering studies offer new methodological tools for capturing gender differences and inequalities while contributing to the wider societal debate on gender diversity in Switzerland and beyond.
